Less time lighting. More time cooking. The ArcMate Charcoal Starter is purpose-built for fast, reliable charcoal ignition — no gas, no chemicals, no fuss. Its unique shape creates 360° airflow that draws heat upward, getting your charcoal ready in around 10–15 minutes.

Made from 2mm 430 food-grade stainless steel and built for Australian conditions. The collapsible two-piece design packs down into the included canvas storage bag — no bulk, no wasted space in your 4WD or caravan.

How to Use

  1. Fill the charcoal starter with your preferred charcoal, heat beads or briquettes.
  2. Place a firelighter in the base of your fire pit or BBQ and light.
  3. Place the charcoal starter over the lit firelighter.
  4. Wait 10–15 minutes until charcoal is red or ashed over.
  5. Using heat-resistant gloves, tip charcoal into the base of your fire pit or BBQ.
