A Back Brace Stainless steel is a must have when cooking a full animal on a spit rotisserie. It is used to secure the centre of the animal to the skewer by being mounted around the spine and the skewer. As the meat cooks it becomes limp and with out a back brace you'll likely find that your whole hog, full lamb, or what ever full animal will be lost to the fire.
